The Story Of Motown

The Story of Motown will take you on an epic musical journey from Motown’s humble beginnings in downtown Detroit, USA to the magical heights of its global success. The Story of Motown features all the classic hits from this much-loved period of music history. Transport yourself back in time and dance the night away to some of “The Sound of Young America’s” finest hits. Legendary records such as “Baby Love”, I Can’t Help Myself”, “I’ll Be There”, “Stop In the Name Of Love”, “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough”, “Signed, Sealed, Delivered” and “You Can’t Hurry Love”.

The Story of Motown will see performances from a female vocal trio and a male vocal quartet who between them, will recreate the hits and moves of The Supremes, The Temptations, Martha & The Vandellas, The Four Tops, The Marvelettes, The Jackson 5, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye and Smokey Robinson & The Miracles to name but a few. Both vocal groups will be backed by the amazing 8 piece Motown Big Band.

The Story of Motown has also been authentically choreographed under the directorship of Missouri born Mr. Kyle Kennedy, who also lends his charisma to the role of M.C. for the evening. The show also features a breathtaking stage-set with excellent stage lighting and visuals completing a fitting dedication to the history and grandeur of the Motown era.
